Evolve & Survive Guides
From pink worm to scorpion without wasting Revives.
This hub is the map of every Evolve & Survive tutorial on the wiki. The game looks simple from the Roblox thumbnail — a worm, an ant, a beetle — but 30-player servers punish anyone who morphs without a plan. Use the pages below in order if you just spawned. Jump sideways if you already have Gold and a stag beetle and only need combat or Index help.
Start with getting started if this is your first session. Claim codes before you fight. Then pick a morph line from how to evolve and a fighting style from how to play.
What each guide is for
- Getting started — first-hour checklist: Shop, Eat Food (0/5), Index, Bag, and when to run from a centipede.
- How to evolve — grassland line (worm → ant → beetle → scorpion) versus desert line (shrew → rat → scorpion) and what Hour 1 versus Hour 24 actually means.
- How to play — PvP rules of thumb, when to hunt, when to eat, and how unique attacks differ by form.
- Controls — movement, camera, Shop rail, and mobile versus PC habits.
- Evolvedex — completing Index, secret silhouette forms, and why collection is not the same as power.
- Gold and Shop — Cosmetics, Products, Skins, Codes, wheel spins, and Revive priority.
- Map and biomes — lawn, forest, beach, desert, oasis, and which Index portraits live on each ground.
- How to beat apex — mantis, beetle, scorpion, and centipede matchups, plus when hopping is the win.
- Game review — whether the 30-player morph loop is worth a session after Update 3.
- Gamepasses — Shop Products, Robux, and why the free loop still completes Index.
- Secrets — Index silhouettes, mystery scorpion, and biome-gated portraits.
The tier list sits next to these guides on purpose. A tutorial tells you how a mantis swings. The tier list tells you whether that mantis should even take the fight.
Pain points these pages exist to fix
New players die as worms because they chase the first moving thing. Eat Food is a five-step objective at the top of the HUD; combat is optional until that bar fills. The getting started page is blunt about this.
Mid players stall as ants because they treat every biome as the same. Grassland, forest, desert, beach, and oasis ponds change which forms spawn around you. How to evolve maps those biomes to morph lines.
Collectors open Index, see a glowing scorpion silhouette with a question mark, and assume the game is unfinished. That silhouette is a later or hidden form. The Evolvedex guide explains how to hunt it without throwing Revives into the void.
Spenders dump Gold into the first skin they see, then rage when a knockout sends them back a stage. Gold and Shop and the revive planner put lives ahead of looks.
How to read a guide on this wiki
Every tutorial page is written for the live v2.2 layout: Shop, Ready, Index, and Bag on the left; Eat Food at the top; Invite and version chip at the top right. If a screenshot in the wild shows a different rail, it is older than this wiki.
Internal links use trailing slashes and stay on your language. If you switched the header to French, those same links become French URLs automatically. Legal pages stay in English on purpose.
We do not invent ability names or damage numbers Structa has not shown. When a form only appears in official thumbnails — pink worm, brown ant, green mantis, turtle, shrew, purple rat, yellow-backed stag beetle, desert scorpion, several centipede palettes — we name that form and stop. Speculation is labeled as such.
Pair guides with other hubs
After a guide, open:
- Animal forms for a roster view
- Abilities for attack identity
- Best forms for current rankings
- Update 3 if a patch just dropped
- Scripts hub only if you insist on executors — and read script safety first
Guides will not auto-play the game for you. They will keep you from spending four Revives learning that a worm cannot tank a red centipede in the desert.
