Evolve & Survive Gold, Shop, and Wheel Spins

Four Shop tabs, one currency, and why Revives beat skins.

Last updated:

Gold and Shop

Shop is the left-rail storefront with a basket icon. Inside are four tabs: Cosmetics, Products, Skins, and Codes. Gold is the soft currency that feeds the first three. Robux bundles sit under Products. Promo strings sit under the yellow Codes chip. If you only came here to paste Update3, use how to redeem and come back when you actually have 100 Gold to spend.

The four tabs

Cosmetics — visual extras that do not change your morph line. Safe to browse. Dangerous to buy before you own Revives.

Products — Roblox purchases. Skip this tab until you understand the free loop. Nothing here completes Eat Food (0/5) for you. Details on gamepasses and Products.

Skins — palettes and looks for forms you already have. A gold-trimmed ant is still an ant. Skins do not fill Evolvedex slots.

Codes — purple Redeem a Code box and the Discord prompt. Live strings are on the codes hub. Expired strings are on expired codes.

Close Shop with the red X. The voxel lawn, palm trees, and red food cubes are still behind the window. Eating is still the real progression.

What Gold is for

Code roundups describe Gold as the currency for skins, cosmetics, and wheel spins. Update3 grants 100 Gold, which is the largest live dump. Expired Update2 granted 50. If you missed the old patch, you are not priced out of the shop — you just have fewer impulse spins.

Spend order we recommend:

  1. Confirm Revives are in the bank. Lives are not Gold, but they are the resource that makes Gold matter.
  2. One wheel spin if you like variance. SpinTheWheel used to gift three free spins; that code is dead, so you are paying now.
  3. A skin for a form you actually main, checked against the tier list.
  4. Cosmetics last.

The revive planner exists because players invert this list and then cry in Discord.

Wheel spins

The wheel is a surprise table. Official pages do not publish drop rates, so treat every spin as entertainment, not as a morph skip. If a spin would empty your Gold before a beetle fight, do not spin. You cannot wheel your way past a centipede.

Anyone promising “guaranteed scorpion from spin” is selling unsafe scripts or a lie. Walk away.

Products and Robux

Products will try to sell convenience. Convenience does not replace how to evolve. If you buy, buy something that protects time (extra storage, extra luck) rather than a duplicate skin. This wiki will not list Robux prices because they change and because the free loop is complete without them.

Codes as a Gold printer

Right now the only live Gold printer is Update3 (100 Gold). 2kLikes and 1kLikes print Revives. That split is intentional: Structa wants you alive more than it wants you sparkly. Redeem all three anyway. Then play.

When a new likes milestone drops, expect another Revive code before another Gold code. Watch the Discord and updates.

Shop hygiene in a 30-player server

Do not AFK in Shop in the open. The window does not pause other players. A scorpion can walk onto your worm while you inspect a hat. Browse at spawn, after a knockout, or behind a canyon wall.

If Shop desyncs after a long session, rejoin once. Currency should persist. Forms in Index persist. The body you were piloting might not — that is the knockout rule, not a shop bug.

After you spend

Go eat. The Eat Food bar does not care about your new skin. Then take a fight in your weight class using how to play. If the skin was for a form you cannot find, you bought a costume for an empty Index slot. Farm the form on the animals hub first next time.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers players search before they jump back into a server.

What does Gold buy in Evolve & Survive?

Cosmetics, skins, and wheel spins. It does not unlock Evolvedex forms by itself.

Should I spin the wheel with Update3 Gold?

One spin is fine. Emptying 100 Gold before you have Revives is not. Lives first.

Do skins make me stronger?

No. Skins change looks. Combat still follows form and weight class.

Where is the Codes tab?

Inside Shop, right-most yellow chip after Cosmetics, Products, and Skins.
